What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. If your comment is complementary, we may include it in our quote collection, along with your first name and location. Our privacy policy assures that we will never share personal information.
Contact forms
When you fill out a contact form, we receive an email containing your comments/questions and contact information. We use this information to reply to your comments/questions.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days. Usage data used to optimize your experience may be kept from 11 months to 4 years.

We do not share your data outside Thrive Yoga Summit. We occasionally have support personal assist with website issues and when they do, we create a temporary password to the site that is removed when the issue is corrected.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your contact information
Contact information entered as part of your user account is retained in the system. If you opt-in to our newsletters or other correspondence, your first name, last name, and email address will be stored in Flodesk and used for that purpose. You may unsubscribe to emails at any time (there is an unsubscribe option at the bottom of each email).

We use strong passwords and CleanTalk to protect our site from automated spamming and other forms of site hacking. We utilize SSL to further safeguard our site. Other WordPress security plug-ins are active and configured to keep the site, and your data, safe. We monitor the site for any signs of malicious activity and take appropriate action when it is observed. If we believe your account or data has been compromised, we will inform you via email, if one has been provided.

Our side has APIs (application programming interfaces) to core services including Mindbody for class listings and registrations, Facebook for a download of our live feed, and Instagram for a download of our recent posts. We are careful to use recognized businesses for these types of services.

We use overall customer buying trends to make decisions regarding future marketing plans. We may also use this data to reward frequent customers with special deals or incentives.
